Phase 2 of Vision of Love’s Livelihood Project: Small Business 1

Vision of Love recently commenced it’s phase 2 of the livelihood project development in the village Sivanagar in Mullaitivu District of Sri Lanka. One of the initiatives supports the needy to improve the existing small businesses or setup new businesses. In this first small business, a 48-years old woman with 4 members in her family, has been supported to run a small business in her premises, mainly selling groceries and vegetables. One of her children is studying and another child was injured in the ethnic conflict. She looks after the shop and recently sales increased significantly due to improvements made to the shop and availability of more stock.
